Full Version: Mounting Read Only In Fstab

Hi, I've just recently had problems with linux somehow deleting files on my system (I think). It has deleted all of my music files from my E: drive, which is Fat32. I was wondering what I need to change in fstab to make it mount my fat32 partitions as read only.


PS: I think it's from my little brother shutting off the computer improperly, thus not cleanly unmounting the partitions. BTW, I'm not positive it is linux... My Dad's computer had trouble with win2k actually deleting a partition. Guess I'm just doing this as a precautionary measure.
