Hi Guys

I am totally new to working on linux,so this maybe a very silly question.I am working on a Embedded Linux platform called MontaVista. I wanted to enable UVC drivers on it,and the instructions given to me were
it needs to be enabled, in the menuconfig:
Device Driver -> Multimedia Support -> Video Capture Adapters -> V4L USB Devices -> USB Video Class(UVC)

How do i access menuconfig? I use minicom and have the target board # prompt.Any instruction to be typed here? Please help me. Thank you

It depends, Do you have a complete development environment on the embedded board? Source files, headers etc... Type the command
make menuconfig

If your embedded board does not have the resources i.e. storage space for a complete development system then you will have to use another computer.
