Can anyone help??

i now get an error message on every start up when it tries to load the gnome-panel. if i keep closing the error i can use linux through other means ok (minus the panel bar).

Log into KDE. Delete your .gnome folder.

Before you delete all your gnome settings as stated above, you should post what error messages you are receiving when you try to log into gnome. This may give us a better idea as to what is causing it to fail on the panel.
