here's the problem, i am running red hat 9 and it was working with no problems , I temp set it up on a diff monitor at a freinds house that has a brodband connection to up grade to the newest kernal. The upgrade went fine and the computer booted with no probs, now that I have it home when it boots it goes to the point right before the interface comes up and then goes black(monitor shuts off). Not sure if it is set to the other monito and doesnt like the old one, any suggestions? thanks ahead of time.

you will have to reconfigure your monitor settings that you use at your house

Thanks, but how do i get into it to reset up the monitor. Do I need a boot disk or do i need to set it up when booting..

and that will start the program to re-configure the video and monitor settings.
