hye.i new in linux.i have one server.i install redhat 5 on it.then i want to use wireless to connet to internet but when i try to active my wirelss its give me this message

Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device eth2:1 ; No such device.
Error for wireless request "Set Bit Rate" (8B20) :
SET failed on device eth2:1 ; No such device.
Error for wireless request "Set Encode" (8B2A) :
SET failed on device eth2:1 ; No such device.
Error for wireless request "Set ESSID" (8B1A) :
SET failed on device eth2:1 ; No such device.
SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device
Failed to bring up eth2:1.


before i install redhat 5 i using fedora 7.in fedora 7 my wireless just ok.

so can anybody help me with this problem.

I guess you mean Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5? (Red Hat 5 is veeeeery old)

Could you post the output of the "lspci" and "dmesg" commands?

its ok already.i using fedora right now.my wireless work just fine.
