Hi

I have a Hp laptop with 2 x 160gb hard drives. One has Vista and the other has Ubuntu installled on it. I am using a GRUB loader to select between the two operating systems. What im trying to do is reduce the Ubuntu partition to around 80-100gb and give the rest back as a secondary drive for Vista.

Can anyone tell me what i need to do, and keep it simple smile.gif

Many thanks

You need to boot using a liveCD with gparted. You can not resize a mounted partition.
