Full Version: Trouble With Make Command

I'm using caldera openlinux 3.1.1. I seem to have problems with installation. I am trying to install cyrus sasl. it configures fine but when I try to make i get some errors. they are the following:
checkpw.c:63: krb.h: No such file or directory
make[2]: *** [checkpw.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/cyrus-sasl-1.5.28/lib'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/cyrus-sasl-1.5.28'
make: *** [all-recursive-am] Error 2
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Try to find out if you have installed all depenend packages for your program.
Don't know what is krb.h but try to read the installation manual, it could be explained
in a file such INSTALL.

krb.h is part of the kerberos development package. You probably have kerberos installed, but you need the headers which are most likely located in the -dev package. This will most likely fix your problem.
