I am trying to set up wireless internet on my Suse 10.1......
i have a Netgear WG111.....
i am a complete noob (as the title states).....
does anyone have a complete noob guide to using that ndiswrapper thing?.....

alright.....i know how to use the ndiswrapper thing....but there doesnt seem to be a driver for it.....
anyone know of a wireless adapter that is compatible automatically compatible with linux?.....without having to find drivers and such for it.....

looks like no one want to help me out.....lol

well.....instead of using wireless adapters, what about wireless bridges?....would that work?

It's not that I don't WANT to help, it's that I dont know anything about wireless networking...

dang.....i wish i could do that....so much more simple.....
i just installed a WG311T and the madwifi rpms and i still dont have it working......

Type 'iwconfig' and show us the output please

You can find the driver for your card on the manufacturers website; just grab one for Windows XP and 'ndiswrapper -i whatever.inf'
