In Linux I am logged in as root. How can I view other users files? I can seem to see their home directory or any diretories?

Root user can basically view any file on the system. Just navigate to the right directory inside /home.

However, getting root access ona machine with network shares generally doesnt allow you to get root permissions with regard to the files on those network shares - In fact in a lot of cases the root user is actively barred from entering network shares by the server.
