I am a total linux newbie. Last night I got Red Hat on my computer installed it and booted it. As soon as I was in GNOME the first thing I wanted to do was change the res. Well I did and it told me to restart. I did and now I can't get in X. I am completely useless at the command line so I would really truely appreciate any help any one can give me.
Thanks in advance.

The most likely thing is that the resolution you tried to set is not supported by your current settings.it would be helpful for us if you could provide us with information regarding your video card and monitor etc.
