Full Version: A squid problem
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
I had a problem with squid ( red hat 7.2 ).
In my network my firewall is forwarding all port 80 requests to proxy.
I had some simple rules which are denying people to access porn sites and making downloads. But i have a problem with one site which is ( e legal site ). Even though i gave my IP allow for everything proxy stops me when i browse to this address.when i deselect proxy settings i can access that site but can not access internet.
i create an acl to allow all requests for that site but it still blocks it. i have to use both proxy settings and access that address.

Why it blocks that address and how can i get over with this?

I would be glad if you can help me with this....

Thanks a lot.
Without seeing your ACL rules theres not much we can do.
