i have donwloaded 64bit Fedora linux (iso files 5 cds) from Fedora site.
i tried to install on a ASUS P5LD2VM mother board with 512MB ddr2 RAM and 160 GB SATA2 hard disk
there are three partitions of windows xp32bit, windows xp64 bit and windows 2003 64bit and there is 45GB of unformatted disk space available to fedora core.
once i put the cd1 of fedora, it shows me a white screen (no fedora core banner) with the boot options. once i press enter or type linux acpi=off and then press enter either it shows some two screens of characters and hangs. nothing happens after that. WHAT TO DO?
HOW TO CAPTURE THE TWO SCREENS OF CHARACTERS?
The messages on a scan looks like pertaining to RAM, KERNEL PANIC unable to find boot file system.
