Hi I have tried everything to try to get my wireless security enabled. Every time i try to enable it i get no connection. Things are fine until i try to enable WEP. I have a linksys wmp11 wireless network card and mandriva 06. Thanks in advance for any help or ideas.

If you are using a linksys gear then you should avoid using WEP security all together as it is very insecure and easily cracked.
The best security when using advanced gear like linksys and billion gear is to use wifi protection authorisation pre-shared key (WPA-PSK)
the best key is to use as close to the 63 characters as possible using hexidecimal based on a word familar to you maybe the the hex for a pets name or something.
WPA-PSK is much more secure and also very linux compat.
also try turning the hide ssid option off on your router or access point and manually type in the ssid in the wireless config utility in the control panel.
