Full Version: Can't type in pass on Suse 10.0

Well, I just installed suse on my old pc. Install seemed to go well but now when I try to boot into Suse It lets me type in a username but not a password. I'm a newb to linux and fairly confused any help would be apreciated.

Passwords are not echoed with a * in linux so it feels like your typing in the blind. Go ahead type it in at the prompt and press the enter key. If this isn't the case then please be more specific.
