Full Version: booting from disk helpp

hi im brand new at linux.

i bought the SUSE magazine with the disks and stuff and decided to install on an old comp that ran 98.

im in a bit of a dillema. it doesnt feel like booting from the disk when i put it in the D drivve.

any help? if you could email me at that would be alot of help. thanks alot!!!
Is the BIOS configured to boot from the CDROM drive first?

Also post the hardware specifications of this PC. How much memory etc.
