Hello all, I'm new to the linux world, and need help setting up slackware 10.2. For some reason, my system will not boot correctly. When the lilo bootloader comes up, I press enter to install slackware on the linux partition, and I get a long list of directories that look like this: "/sbin/ldconfig: file /opt/kde/lib/libkstore.so is empty or unchecked", or similiar. They fill up my whole monitor. I'm assuming this is a bad thing... Any suggestions on fixing this?
Thanks in advance,
Ben

Did you burn this CD yourself? Re-download the .iso file, and check the md5 sum before you burn it.

Yeah, I burnt the CD myself. I see the MD5 file in my Disk 1, and 2 folder. How do I check the MD5 sum? I don't have any programs that will recognize that format. Sorry to pester you guys with stupid questions, but I couldn't find the file extension info in the net.
Thanks in advance,
Ben
