Full Version: Mercury TV Card SAA7130 chips under Fedora Core 4
Linuxhelp > Support > Hardware Support
Here is what I found to do.
In your "etc/modprobe.conf" at the end of the page ad these two lines

options i2c-algo-bit bit_test=1
options saa7134 card=3 tuner=37

The first tells the kernel to look at the card again ( It doesn't always get the card quite )
The next line tells the kernel just what the card is and how to use it.
Now in your "etc/X11/xorg.conf"
At the end of your
Section "Module" add this line

Load "v4l"

Now save and reboot
If you are going to record something you might want to yum xdTV "Get there resource from ( Home page.)

Please parden me if I type the way I talk.
If you have any feed back please E-mail me at [removed by DS2K3]
Soon there will be another entory for another TV card thanks to a friend, I hope this will help you as much as it helped me.
Any chance you could stick this in the Wiki?

Also, I have removed your email address to stop it getting harvested by spambots.
