Okay... help... please.

im getting this message every time I restart my computer

INIT: Id "x" respawning too fast: disabled for 5 minutes

and my computer wont boot for any reason what so ever
Help me LinuxHelp.. You're my only hope!! *Princess Leia tears*

A little more information plase. Is this a new problem? Or is this a fresh install you haven't ever gotten to boot. By "x" is that giving you a processes ID or a name. Are you trying to start with or without X?

by x he means.... X Window, so in short he doesn't have GUI...

Buddy, as it seems your X configuration is screwed..so first of all try to boot in the runlevel 3 and get at least the login prompt..and then we can attempt to solve the problem....

Press "ALT-CTRL-Backspace" to kill the X server and from the command prompt, we will have to modify the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file.
