Instructions from the realplayer website
Installation Instructions

(1) - Ensure that the .bin file you downloaded is executable. You can make the .bin file executable by running the "chmod a+x RealPlayer10GOLD.bin" command from a terminal window.

(2) - Run the .bin file by typing "./RealPlayer10GOLD.bin". Follow the prompts provided to finish installing the player.

(3) - When you launch the player for the first time, a set-up assistant will take you through configuring your player.

What distro / version of linux are you running? Open up a console window and navigate using the cd command to the directory where the bin file is located.

Type in the command from step 1 ( stuff in quotes but do not include them).

To execute the file type in the command in step2 (again stuff in quotes).
