I've been doing a Linux server project in my computer class,

Basic goal, Set up a Linux server, manage it, etc.. etc..

I'm running Debian/GNU

I can't figure out what's wrong with the network..

I can't connect to the internet..

I can see people in the class on my network, But can't access them, as they can't access me either...

If any one could help me I'd apreiciate it a whole lot..

I don't think i configured DHCP properly, And What not..

It's just confusing, I'm rather new to the whole thing

Where is your instructor?

What do you mean by "I can see people"

Post the output of "ifconfig" (you'll probably have to be root to run that) and the output of "ping www.google.com"

I don't know why I am helping somebody with there homework, but at least this isn't a google me problem.
