I am a beginner Linux user. I just perchased a Dell Laptop to use to study the Linux system. The Laptop came with no OS that workout great because I just wanted Linux to run on it.
The Problem is when I finished the instal I forgot the password I put in for the logon screen. HELP!!!
so what do I do? My first thought was to just delete everything on the hardrive and re-install the OS. If that is the way, what is the command that I use to delete the hd?
Or should I just do a re-install over the current install.
Please help me get over this first obsticle.
