Ok, im new to the whole linux thing but am having fun learning. I have set up a Fedora Core 4 and trying to get the ssh to work from within a schools network. It is behind a router and have that router fording the port to the right ip address. I have set up the sshd_config to listen for that ip address. When i try to log in from a computer not on the same network. I get a network error from winscp, or putty. I have tried to also set up a ddns to the router as well and though i don't know why that would have helped it didnt though. I know this is jumbled but am up to any help to get this working out side of the dorms network. Thanks alot
