Hello,
I am not sure if you will be able to help me out here. I have configured a website using dyndns.org. The problem is that I am a CORBA application developer, and once I setup the server, the server is bound on the local addres 192.168.1.100 supplied by my DHCP router. I am new to Linux, but I just managed to port my entire server, java, and corba applicaitons into linux (red hat 9). I configured the router to expose my 192.168.1.100 as DMZ on the router. Now I can use my dynmaic IP adress to show my Apache website. But still the refereces I get from my CORBA Server are local so the client cannot connect to 192.168.1.100.

Ok another way to carry on my work will be if I can access my server atleast on the local lan. I am unable to get to my apache website lookup from my windows client laptop.

On linux I configured my linux server to
127.0.0.0 localhost xyz.myserver.com localhost.localdomain

Kindly guide me if you know how to access xyz.myserver.com from another client on the Lan network ?

Thanks,

Warm Regards,
AV
Termina
What you probably want to do is to find the 'ServerName' in httpd.conf

CODE
ServerName avengers.dyndns.org

Replace that with the real address. smile.gif

Also, if clients cannot connect, DMZ might not be working correctly. You might want to forward port 80 to your computer, just in case.

Did you enable the firewall during the install? You might have to 'iptables -F'
