where can i get these? how did they disapear from my computer?
and what do these files do?
If anyone can help me that would be really great
Samba is windows file-sharing, and PAM is authentixation. You dont samba unless you need to interact with Windows computers for file-sharing or printnig, but PAM is crucial to virtually all systems.

They aren't files, they are complete packages. If you cant install them using a package manager (not sure what redhat uses by default to install things) then you might need to reinstall your system.

Try and find some RPMs to install the packages on - Once downloaded they can be installed using

rpm -i name_of_rpm.rpm

But, if you dont have PAM, you shouldnt be able to log in...
