Full Version: Disallow Certain Users From Ssh?
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
I'd like to let a user log in via FTP, but not SSH (mostly because of chroot).

Using 'AllowUsers' in sshd_config isn't an option, since I allow new users to create accounts via the 'newuser' account.

It's only two users I don't want to use SSH. (I can't change their shell either, since FTP won't work unless the shell in /bin/bash)
For now I've just set up a '.bashrc' and ''.bash_login" that perform exec exit, exit, and logout.

I update the permissions to keep them from being writable. :/ Guess that'll have to do
