Each time I install slackware linux it comes up witrh kernel panic at then end of startup. The last time I added reiserfs to the kernel install section and the same thing happened. Even if a add Linux=default to etc/lilo and then /sbin/lilo -v after checking the new lilo.
As I have redhat linux I might use cfdisk to remove (delete) slackware and try redhat. I use cfdisk as it's easyer to use. Are there any adantages in using fdisk?

Slackeware 10.1 Comes with cfdisk. Accually you'll need to use it too if you want to make life easier when installing slackware. Soon as you put in the first cd and boot it it you press enter and it boots. Well soon as you log in you can use it. With slack you need to set up your partitions first otherwise your setup will fail and your get the problem you have.
