Hi,

I'm trying to export a directory, via NFS, from a Mac and mount it on a linux box. I followed the instructions at:

http://astcomm.net/mac/tech/nfs_howto/server/

And I got the Mac to begin exporting the directory. I was then able to mount it on another Mac. When I tried to mount it on a Linux box it did work, but it took an extremely long time. I used the mount command with '-t nfs' flags and it worked, but there must be some thing I'm not doing that's causing the extreme hangup. When I mount the exported directory on another Mac it's almost instanteous.

Is there some options I should be exporting my directory with (at the moment I'm only using 'ro')? Are the options I should be passing to the mount command on the linux box? Thank you so much.
