I'm using FC3 and I have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz soundcard and I can't hear any sounds, but when I open up Soundcard Detection It plays the test sound just fine. I also have the AC97 Audio controller on my motherboard, and I can't hear the test sound on that one when I plug speakers into it. At this point I don't care which one I use as long as one of them works. Under the soundcard detection screen AC97 is always the primary device even when I try to change it. It seems like if I could make Santa Cruz the primary device it would work. Any ideas?

Hi,

you should check if the volume is turned all the way up.

or not muted

ps. if not muted try muting it and then turn it all the way up, what happens?
