Full Version: Can't Install Qt
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support

i'm having problems with Qt 3.1.0 installation. I've removed the old qt and when i try to install new Qt, there is no qt direcory in /usr/lib/, like there was before when i had old qt. i'm using Slackware. Also the same problem was with some other packages that i've tried to install. I've upgraded Qt and KDE before, but this time it didn't work.
If anyone's got any idieas, please tell me.

Thanks in advance.
if you are installing from a tar.gz file
there should be an option to to the configure script
to set your prefix.

check to see if there is a prefix option and set it to /usr/lib/qt

and re-install it

but first do a make clean
or make distclean to uninstall
the previous install

hopefully this helps....
