Full Version: Monitoring Bandwidth
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
i am hosting a couple of friends game servers because i have a fairly high bandwidth rate. and even tho i'm capped i'd like to know how much of my bandwidth they are using in total for each day, month, year ect. so that if it becomes popular and i notice it getting steadily faster i can politely ask them to leave.
i have cpanel installed on the machine, but i simply cant find a program that will pull stats based on the port number the program is running on.
(cos they are using the same ip/hostname as me)

any ideas??
i liked the idea of ntop but it wouldnt install. something about dependencies

then your searching for something like SITA (Simple Internet Traffic Analyzer)

it can show you how much bandwidth they use, on daily, weekly , monthly , yearly basis.

to get it go here
