Hello,

I've got a problem originaly I've set up the Samba DC for roaming profiles...then we had a little change in the plan and roaming profiles are dissabled but I made my /var 20GB in size!!! to big now.

is there a way to make /var smaller (tried parted...but told me that strange file system...and won't do it)

and make /share3 larger

df

/dev/hdc1 4960812 636884 4071932 14% /
/dev/hda1 3472508 37992 3258120 2% /boot ( I needed this cause the bios is freezing if I enable the 120 GB disk smile.gif )
none 127116 0 127116 0% /dev/shm
/dev/hdc2 30237456 275340 28426128 1% /share
/dev/hdc3 30237456 32832 28668636 1% /share2
/dev/hdc5 30237424 172172 28529264 1% /share3
/dev/hdc6 21469768 254348 20124792 2% /var

would be great if I could shrink /var
and make /share3 bigger
but how?

Sincerely
Robert B
