i got this error while installing the ntfs support for fedora core 1. how to fix it

[root@localhost root]# rpm -ihv kernel-ntfs-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl.athlon.rpm
Preparing... ########################################### [100%]

ERROR: This RPM cannot be installed yet.

This RPM requires kernel-2.4.22-1.2199.nptl.
You already have it installed, but it is not running.
Please reboot and select that kernel, then retry the install.

Ya, your not running the kernel it needs. Download that kernel, install it, and than reboot and select it. Ounce you have done that you should be able to install the ntfs support.

You can type the command uname -r to see what kernel you are currently running.

Or you could just compile NTFS support into the new kernel. Then type as root:

mount -t ntfs /dev/hda# /mountfolder
