Hello, I have been trying to set up a shared internet connection (DSL) through a router between my computers. One has only XP on it, this one has Linux/XP as a dual boot. Under windows, the sharing works fine, however, in Linux I cannot find any help on the subject. The router I am using is a Linksys BEFSR41, a four port, switched cable/dsl router. The link lights are lit on the router when I am running Linux (SuSE 8.0; I'm hoping to be able to get this set up so that I can run an internet update to SuSE 8.1), so the problem is not in making a connection to the router. Any help, ideas or just plain answers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Try this site www.tldp.org (The Linux Documentation Proj). Loads of HOWTOs.
Just FYI, did "dsl howto" in their search engine and got 97 hits ...
