Full Version: Packet Driver And Mac Addresses
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
Hey all

Trying to use ghost for multicasting...

Has worked fine in the past but not on this machine..

Im having problems connecting to the server machine and i think its something to do with the NIC.

When i load the packet driver eg... rtspkt 0x7e

it returns a mac address of FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF which is a broadcast address isnt it?

I have tried with two different cards one Realtek 8139 and one Realtek 8029AS and removed any other network cards to avoid conflicts.

Any Ideas?
By the way its windows im ghosting not linux.. but just cause its more of a general network question thought id ask u guys tongue.gif
