My problem is that I have windows xp installed on my pc and I also whant Redhat Linux 9 installed on the computer to. I installed both on the primary drive. Windows first. The problem is that the Linux loader is skiped so that windows is loaded right away.
Got it to work along time ago.
What am I doing worng?
did u have it set to boot off a floppy?
Where did you install the bootloader, MBR or /root?
You can use the install 1st CD to boot to rescue mode. Your root partition will be mounted @ /mnt/sysimage.

You can install grub to the MBR by:
chroot /mnt/sysimage
grub-install /dev/hda
