Hi,

just got my Novell Technical Resource Kit, managed to update Suse Linux to the latest updates except for one thing...

somehow I just can't seem to install the kernel source from the net, I can find it with package search (via Yast) but for some reason I cannot select it to be installed, any ideas what could be wrong ?

(my current kernel version is 2.6.5-7.104-default)

Sincerely

Just a thought, but maybe clearing out your old kernel source, or at least breaking the /usr/src/linux link might help. I really don't know.

Hi,

meanwhile I managed to do it smile.gif

I don't know how the guys at Suse tought it would work...but ermmm

first I needed to add the kernel from the DVD, and then update it from the internet , so that it was the same version as my kernel....strange

Sincerely
