Full Version: Starting Red Hat Daemon Network
Linuxhelp > Support > Technical Support
I moved my ES server from one location to another with a new Internet Provider. When booting it hangs at "Starting Red Hat Network." The box is working as an email server and sets off a Smoothwall firewall. Internet access is available through the network, and I can run sendmail on an old box that is loaded with Red Hat 7. Any ideas on what is wrong with the ES box? Thanks. Miami311
Is this device connected directly to the ISP or behind your router?

Is the external address static or dynamic?

Is it possible that the old IP address is set for the external IP address?
Thanks for the reply. I have posted this problem and couple of times and you are, so far, I only hope for help! The Lynux email box is not only behind the router, but it is behind a firewall box running smoothwall. The external address is static. I have checked the setup and the external address is changed. I have wondered, however, if there are more places that the change needs to be made.
