Hi,

Since I have never used lilo before, I set the wrong display parameters during bootup and somehow I need to change that vga= xxx line back to some normal value , I've found /etc/lilo.conf but I think I need something to update lilo (cause if I change lilo.conf It doesn't seem to update anything at all)

Sincerely

What system is this on? Fedora?

Can yopu get to the command line?

If so use an editor. The config. file is under /etc/lilo.conf. change the VGA= and after you are done run the command lilo.

That will update lilo.

Hi,

have you tried using
CODE
liloconfig
before? Then have to install it again, to 'save' the changes.

That's what I did on my Slackware.

first thing I do on any distro that has lilo is remove it and install grub smile.gif
