I cannot get a connection up and working. I installed rp-pppoe and configured it with username password and domain, but when I try to connect I only get time out error. I am a newbie and don't even know where to start troubleshooting. Any help would be greatly appreciated

What type of connection u have?have u checked on the web page that if u have DSL modem and ur ISP uses pppoe than only u can use it.
