Whenever I move the mouse when an application loads or does something. Especially during in the Mandrake Control Center. How do I fix this problem?

I'm guessing its a graphics problem, since during the installation of mandrake I had to choose the GeForce driver, instead of the GeForce4 (I have a G4 Ti-4200 card from MSI) otherwise I would get errors...

NVidia drivers are usually good accross the boards for all geforce chipsets, by any chance did you try to upgrade your drivers to the hardware accelerated drivers from nvidia's official website? I find using them fixs any graphics-related problems I have. Otherwise, what type of mouse do you have, and what protocol does it use? (PS/2, Serial, USB?)
