okay, I just installed linux last night, so bear with me if i sound like an idiot.

I'm trying to install GCC, but when i do, this message pops up:
You must set the environment variable CC to a working compiler

How do I do that??

I read somewhere that I might need to find a prebuilt GCC binary, but I have no idea where to find one.

PLEASE HELP ME!!!
Hemant

#apt-get install gcc
