I am trying to install /boot on the local ide drive and the rest of the fedora on the 2gb scsi aha152x pcmcia card I have. I cannot see the scsi drive connected to the aha152x. I have booted from fc1 cd with linux dd command but it doesn't see the driver when i load the pcmciadd.img disk. I have manually tried to load the driver by starting linux dd noprobe and put the parameters "0x340,11,7,1" but still nothing. Any ideas to load the driver and install linux on it? Have been trying for the last week. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

This bellow is for a ISA card, so yours would be different....

You will probably need to know add the controller configuration when using the modproble command like IRQ, MEM I/O and controller ID.

modprobe aha152x io=0x140 irq=10 scsiid=7
or
modprobe aha152x aha152x=0x140,9

do you have a linux driver specifically for the PCMCIA card or are you trying to use a generic aha152x driver?

Is this a controller for a hard drive or a flash card tham uses a aha152x driver?

What is the make and model of the card?
