Hi,

I've found a good mail setup guide which uses mysql ,

I did this :

cd /usr/local
tar -xvzf mysql-4.0.18.tar.gz
cd mysql-4.0.18

./configure
--prefix=/usr/local/mysql
--enable-assembler
--with-innodb
--without-debug

when I type make

it goes ok for a while
and then
the following error pops up, and it ends there

libmysql.c: In function `mysql_real_connect':
libmysql.c:1797: warning: passing arg 5 of `gethostbyname_r' from incompatible pointer type
libmysql.c:1797: too few arguments to function `gethostbyname_r'
libmysql.c:1797: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast
make[2]: *** [libmysql.lo] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/mysql-4.0.18/libmysql'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mysql-4.0.18'
make: *** [all] Error 2
[root@mailserver mysql-4.0.18]#
