I am using Redhat 7.2 on a laptop and would like to use my prism II wireless card. It is not listed in the device file in Network Configuration. Is there a way to update that file?

its not a matter of updating the device file, its a matter or installing the drivers for that specific card. You will need a couple things, the latest version of the linux-wlan source code, and the programs for the prismII.

I am not much of an expert on wireless cards, but this thread should get you started.
