I have tried to install Red Hat 9.0. I press enter to start the graphical instalation and it goes directly to the text installation. after asking me what language I wan't for the instalation, and when i tell him that i want to install from de cd, a messege appers saying that the cd was not found and it blocks.
could anyone help me. because i really need this operative system.

So issue this command at the first prompt (where you pressed enter):

linux nomce nousb nopcmcia

then on the first boot, press e to edit at the Grub menu ... , the go to the kernel line ... press e again ...

the add this to the end of the kernel line:

nomce nousb

after booting and logging in, then edit the file /boot/grub/menu.lst and permanently add this:

[b] nomce nousb

at the end of your kernel lines...
