I have windows NT in my PC.
I installed linux 9 afterwards.
Because of viruses I had to reinstall windows again.
Now the dual boot system option doesn't appear anymore when I start my computer.
It goes directly into windows.
How can I recover it so I have the option to log into linux again?

Thanks
Jim
Put your linux CD in. When it comes up to the boot option comes up, type rescue. (You may have to press escape or F1 or something first just get a promt). There should be an option on there to reinstall the boot loader. That will do it for you.

If there isn't one, write back and we will tell you have to do it manually.

Maybe you could download a boot loader from internet for windows like BootMagic.
It is easy to configure so you can help yourself with that

I generally don't recomend using Windows boot loaders to controle linux. They tend to not have the tools you needed to trouble shoot and set up linux boots the way they were intended. Any linux install CD should have a re-intall for the boot loader in it's rescue tools.
