huh.gif HELP!!! When i try to use swat from the lacal machine is says conection to this server refused. What do i do and how to i get swat up and running?? any ideas?

If "swat" does exist on your box, try

man swat

and see how to set it up. It should have a link to a Website.

what linux are you running?

check to see if swat is started and running

if you are running redhat , look in /etc/rc.d/init.d directory
and see if there is a listed in there something named swat...
or swatd and see if you can check the status by typing
/etc/rc.d/init.d/swat status
or
/etc/rc.d/init.d/swatd status

if it is stopped then you can start it...replacing the above status
with start..
and then try to connect to swat with the proper port

jetblackz , besides dont you think of swat doesnt exist
then there wont be any man pages for it possibly
