OK,

If you install these via yum (on whitebox), you should have a fully funtional LAMP server:

mysql-devel-3.23.58-1
mysql-3.23.58-1
php-mysql-4.3.2-8.ent
mysql-server-3.23.58-1
libdbi-dbd-mysql-0.6.5-5
perl-DBD-MySQL-2.1021-3
httpd-2.0.46-32.ent.WB1
httpd-devel-2.0.46-32.ent.WB1
redhat-config-httpd-1.1.0-4
mod_perl-1.99_09-10.ent
mod_ssl-2.0.46-32.ent.WB1
mod_auth_mysql-20030510-1.ent
php-mysql-4.3.2-8.ent
php-odbc-4.3.2-8.ent
php-4.3.2-8.ent

Create a file named info.php in /var/www/html and add this as the text in the file:
CODE
<?php
phpinfo();
?>

Then in your browser, with httpd running, go to
CODE
http://ip_address/info.php
