Hi,

I just started playing with apache 2 , and I know how to add music, and other stuff...

but I would like to know how do you make that , for example if someone clicks on a link, then it opens up my /home/music directory in his explorer , how do you do this?

Sincerely
Robert B

If you put this option in your httpd.conf:

In your httpd.conf, add this (I would put it after the /manual section....):

CODE
Alias /test "/tmp/test"
<Directory "/tmp/test">
   Options Indexes
   AllowOverride None
   Order allow,deny
   Allow from all
</Directory>

then create a the directory /tmp/test ... put files in it, with no index.html and it should list the files.... (The Indexes option is what allows it...) (You have to restart httpd with /etc/init.d/httpd restart after editing httpd.conf).
