Can anyone help me out configure this soundcard under my Windows " Creative AudioPCI (ES1371,ES1373) (WDM) " on a Slackware distrobution? sad.gif

Hey, do you still have the original CD? Many times the CD will contain linux drivers.

Have you tried going to the companies website? (I went to creative.com, didn't find anything... but perhaps you will).

I don't see a "Creative AudioPCI" on the site, nor do I find ES1371 or ES1373.

Is this a SoundBlaster?

Go there, see if that site helps at all

Go to command prompt, type "setup"

choose the sound card configuration.

Play around with the default "generic" drivers, sometimes you will get lucky and one will work.

Also, there should be a generice windows "ad lib" driver included within this list so look for that.

Try the "sound blaster" or "sb" driver within this program. May work. I can assure you that one of these drivers will work. Play around with the IRQ settings as well. The Distro you are using sometimes cannot probe the sound card as well as others I have used.
